UserVoice pricing: how much it actually costs in 2026

No public price list, quotes behind a sales call, and reported entry points in the five figures per year. Here is what is known.

UserVoice pricing explained

The short answer. UserVoice does not publish pricing. Quotes are custom, based on feedback volume and integrations, and reportedly start around $16,000 per year. Before the move to custom-only quotes, its published tiers ran from $699 to $1,499 per month. There is no free plan; there is a 30-day trial.

What the tiers looked like

UserVoice's last publicly known lineup gives a good sense of where quotes land today:

Plan Reported price Good to know
Free plan Does not exist 30-day trial only
Essentials (legacy) $699-$799/mo Lower price with annual billing
Pro (legacy) $899-$999/mo Advanced feedback workflows
Premium (legacy) $1,499/mo Highest published tier
Current pricing Custom quote Reportedly from ~$16,000/yr

What drives the quote

Feedback volume, not seats. UserVoice does not charge per admin seat. Quotes scale with how much feedback flows through the system and which integrations you need, so a successful feedback program grows the bill.

The sales-call tax. Because there is no self-serve option, every evaluation costs you meetings before you see a number. For an enterprise procurement process that is normal. For everyone else it is a dealbreaker by design: self-serve buyers are not the customer they want.

Is UserVoice worth it?

For large organizations, it can be. UserVoice is the category veteran with research workflows, advanced analytics and reporting, and account management that enterprise product teams genuinely use. If you have thousands of customers, a research team, and procurement requirements, the quote buys a mature platform.

If you do not need that machinery, you are looking at five figures a year for something a $0 to $15 a month tool does perfectly well: a board where users post ideas and vote.

The self-serve alternative

WishKit is the opposite end of the spectrum: sign up, get a feedback board in about 100 seconds, free plan included, Premium at a flat $15 per month. Unlimited users can submit, vote, and comment. Apps on iOS, macOS, visionOS, watchOS and tvOS get a native SwiftUI SDK, websites embed the same board, and feature requests can even arrive from posts on X.

Frequently asked questions

Does UserVoice have a free plan?

No. The only free way to use UserVoice is the 30-day trial. If a free plan matters, see our list of UserVoice alternatives, most of which have one.

Why doesn't UserVoice publish prices?

Custom pricing lets a vendor match the quote to the buyer's budget. It is standard practice at the enterprise end of a market and a reliable signal that self-serve customers are not the focus.

What is the cheapest way to get what UserVoice does?

For the core feedback-board workflow, a focused tool covers it: WishKit is free to start and $15 per month for Premium. See the WishKit vs UserVoice comparison for the honest feature-by-feature picture.
