Feature Upvote has an unusually clear idea of what it is. Their own page is titled "what Feature Upvote is and isn't", and they describe a lightweight tool that is not bloated with features you probably do not need. Unlimited contributors, unlimited team members, a custom domain on both paid tiers, and a board your users can post to without creating an account. That last decision is a real advantage, because every login screen between a user and their idea costs you ideas.
It is a hosted web board. Feature Upvote runs at your own subdomain or custom domain, and it can be embedded in a page through an iframe or a JavaScript snippet they describe themselves as a proof of concept with limited features. There is no iOS or Android SDK. If your product is an app, feedback means sending people to a browser.
That matters most for the audience they target. Their homepage is aimed at game developers, and a great many games ship on iPhone and iPad. WishKit gives those teams a board in real SwiftUI for iOS, macOS, visionOS, watchOS and tvOS, so players never leave the game to ask for something.

Feedback finds you. WishKit can also capture feature requests straight from posts on X. When a player publicly asks for a feature, it lands on your board without anyone lifting a finger.
Feature Upvote charges per board. Indie, which they also call Bootstrapper elsewhere on their site, is $49 per board per month billed yearly, or $59 billed monthly. Standard is $99 per board per month billed yearly, or $119 monthly. Their own FAQ does the arithmetic: four boards on Standard costs $396 a month on yearly billing, or $476 monthly. There is no free plan, though the 30-day trial needs no credit card, which is more generous than most.
Per board pricing decides things for you. A second product, a separate board for bugs, or a private board for your team each add the full price again. Removing the "Powered by Feature Upvote" badge, custom CSS and SAML single sign-on all require Standard, so the branding-free version starts at $99 per board per month.
WishKit is flat. Free covers one project with unlimited users. Premium is $15 a month, or $12.50 billed yearly, and covers two projects with comments, user notifications, segmentation, capture from X and no watermark. Enterprise is $39 a month, or $32.50 yearly, for unlimited projects. Running five boards does not change the price.
Choose Feature Upvote if you want one very simple public board, anonymous posting matters more to you than identifying who asked, and a single board is all you will ever need. Choose WishKit if your product runs on Apple platforms, you want more than one board, or you would rather not multiply your bill by the number of boards you keep.
