Featurebase pricing explained: what you actually pay in 2026

Per-seat plans, AI resolution fees, and how the bill grows with your team. A clear breakdown before you commit.

Featurebase pricing explained

The short answer. Featurebase has a free plan with one seat, and three paid plans: Growth at $29, Professional at $59, and Enterprise at $99 per seat per month billed yearly, or $37, $75, and $129 billed monthly. On top of the seat price, paid plans charge $0.49 for every conversation the AI support agent resolves on its own. What you actually pay depends on two things: how many teammates need access and how much of the AI support product you use.

The Featurebase free plan: what you get and where it stops

The free plan is real and useful for one person. It includes the feedback module with one board, one roadmap, one survey, a help center capped at 50 articles, and unlimited end users who can post, vote, and comment. It does not include any AI features, and it comes with exactly one seat.

That single seat is the limit that matters. The moment a second teammate needs to log in, you are on Growth at $29 per seat, so the smallest paid setup for two people is $58 a month billed yearly. If you want a second feedback board, a custom domain, or integrations, same answer. The free plan is a trial without an end date, not a plan a team stays on.

How the per-seat model works

A seat is any admin who manages feedback, responds to support tickets, or works inside the platform. Your end users do not count as seats. People who submit feedback, vote, and comment are unlimited on every plan.

That distinction matters because it decides how the bill scales. A solo founder pays for one seat. A team of five where everyone triages feedback pays for five. On the middle tier that difference is $59 versus $295 every month for the same product.

The costs that sneak up on you

Seats multiply everything. Featurebase bundles feedback boards, roadmaps, changelogs, surveys, a help center, and a support inbox into one product. That bundle is genuinely useful, but it also means the people who only occasionally check feedback still need a paid seat to participate.

AI resolutions are metered. The $0.49 fee applies every time the AI agent handles a support conversation without a human. If your product gets meaningful support volume, this line item behaves like a second subscription that scales with your customers instead of your team. The fee was $0.29 earlier in 2026, so it has already moved once.

The add-ons. Removing the "Powered by Featurebase" branding is a $69 a month add-on, available on Professional and Enterprise only. Unlimited AI Copilot for your agents is $19 per seat per month beyond the included allowance. Outbound email above 5,000 a month is billed as overage. Lite seats, the read-and-comment-only stakeholder accounts that Professional and Enterprise include for free, are the one thing that does not cost extra.

What a real bill looks like

Is Featurebase worth it?

If you want one tool for support and product feedback, and your whole team lives in it, the bundle can replace two or three subscriptions and the math works out. Featurebase is a well-built product and the free plan is a fair way to try it.

If you only need a feedback board, you are paying for a suite you will not use. The feedback features alone do not require a per-seat support platform underneath them.

The flat-priced alternative

WishKit focuses on the feedback board and prices it flat. The free plan gets you started and Premium is $15 per month, not per seat. Unlimited end users can submit, vote, and comment, and your feedback can come from your iOS app, your website, and even posts on X. Setup takes about 100 seconds.

Frequently asked questions

Does Featurebase have a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes one seat, one feedback board, one roadmap, one survey, and a help center of up to 50 articles, with unlimited end users. There are no AI features on it, and a second teammate means moving to Growth at $29 per seat.

What is an AI resolution?

It is a support conversation that Featurebase's AI agent resolves without human intervention. Each one costs $0.49 on paid plans, billed on top of your seat price.

What is a Lite seat?

A read-and-comment-only account for stakeholders who need to see feedback but not manage it. Professional includes 20 for free and Enterprise 50, and they do not count toward the per-seat price.

How much more is monthly billing?

About 28% more. Growth is $37 instead of $29, Professional $75 instead of $59, and Enterprise $129 instead of $99, per seat per month.

How does WishKit compare to Featurebase?

WishKit is the focused option: a feedback board with voting, comments, statuses, and native SDKs for Apple platforms, at a flat $15 per month. See the full WishKit vs Featurebase comparison.
